What we collect: as little as technically possible
Digital Compass has no user accounts, no registration, no forms that collect personal data, no advertising and no cross-site tracking. The guides are static, public-good content (CC BY 4.0).
Data stored on your device
The site works offline as a PWA: your browser's service worker caches pages locally on your device so the guides remain available without a connection. Nothing from that cache is sent to us.
Server logs
The website and the MCP endpoint (compass.madeinro.eu/mcp) keep short technical
access logs (request path, status code, response time, truncated user-agent). IP addresses
are not stored in raw form: they are one-way hashed with a salt that changes daily, so
requests cannot be linked to a person or across days. Logs are used only to operate and
protect the service (e.g. rate limiting).
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregated statistics only (page views, countries, browsers). No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
AI assistants (MCP)
When you use Digital Compass through an AI assistant (for example the ChatGPT app), your conversation is processed by that assistant under its own privacy policy. Our MCP endpoint receives only the tool call (e.g. "find the playbook for a phishing message") and returns public guide content. We do not receive or store your conversation. Important: never share passwords, card numbers or personal documents when asking for help — the guides never require them.
Your rights & contact
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete — but you can always reach us with any privacy question at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP).

Ce colectăm: cât mai puțin posibil tehnic
Digital Compass nu are conturi, nu cere înregistrare, nu are formulare care colectează date personale, nu are publicitate și nu urmărește utilizatorii pe alte site-uri. Ghidurile sunt conținut static, de interes public (CC BY 4.0).
Date stocate pe dispozitivul tău
Site-ul funcționează offline ca PWA: service worker-ul browserului păstrează paginile local, pe dispozitivul tău. Nimic din acel cache nu ne este trimis.
Loguri de server
Site-ul și endpointul MCP păstrează loguri tehnice scurte (cale, cod de status, durată, user-agent trunchiat). Adresele IP nu se stochează în clar: sunt hash-uite ireversibil cu un salt care se schimbă zilnic, deci cererile nu pot fi legate de o persoană sau între zile.
Statistici
Folosim Cloudflare Web Analytics — fără cookie-uri, doar statistici agregate.
Asistenți AI (MCP)
Când folosești Digital Compass printr-un asistent AI, conversația ta e procesată de acel asistent conform politicii lui. Endpointul nostru primește doar apelul de tool și întoarce conținutul public al ghidurilor; nu primim și nu stocăm conversația ta. Important: nu transmite niciodată parole, numere de card sau documente personale când ceri ajutor — ghidurile nu le cer niciodată.
Drepturile tale & contact
Nu deținem date personale despre tine, deci de regulă nu există nimic de accesat, corectat sau șters — dar ne poți scrie oricând la [email protected]. Ai și dreptul de a depune o plângere la ANSPDCP.
